The new, second generation GLA is now the eighth model in the current generation of compact Mercedes-Benz models.
It has already established itself as a popular entry into the impressive SUV family of the brand.
The new GLA has a more pronounced SUV character: it is now more than 10 cm higher than its predecessor at 1,611 mm (1,616 mm with roof rails).
The higher and characteristic SUV seating position also offers more headroom in the front. Another bonus compared to its predecessor is the increased legroom in the rear. Characteristic for the off-road design are the steep front, the short overhangs at the front and rear and the protective mouldings all around.
The 4MATIC models are standard equipped with the off-road engineering package. This package includes an additional driving program, a hill-starting aid and an off-road animation in the media display, as well as, in combination with MULTIBEAM LED headlamps, a special light function for off-road driving.
